Woodburn is an early nineteenth-century property located in Charles City County, Virginia. Built between 1813 - 1815 for John Tyler (the tenth U.S. president), the property is now owned by a descendant of Tyler who is interested in its preservation and possible uses for the site. This paper provides an overview of the property, its history, its current condition, and makes recommendations for additional investigations and potential uses.en_US
