Abstract

This is a research paper that examines the role of gender in the concept of masculinity as it is expressed in the Moroccan Letters by José Cadalso and in the Caprichos by Francisco Goya. The focus is narrowed through the three subjects of: petimetría, luxury, and recreation and laziness.
