dc.description.abstracta model is developed and analyzed for the study of interference on satellite channels. It is utilized in performance evaluation of RS-BCH concatenated codes and BCH single-stage codes on a satellite channel corrupted by co-channel interference. A coherent phase-shift keyed (CPSK) system is assumed. Results obtained utilize earlier work on performance analysis of an m- phase CPSK system in the presence of random Gaussian noise and non-Gaussian interference.en_US
