dc.description.abstract | This thesis represents my work in the Creative Writing department at the University of Maryland from 2003 until 2007. This thesis contains four stories and one uncompleted novella. My work is imaginative and at the same time realistic and evocative. The first three stories are interested in the bizarre and the macabre, while the other two sections find their focus in sports and the consequences of sports on sons and fathers during different times in American life. | en_US |
