dc.description.abstractWe explore the Alexander polynomial for a knot. We prove that an arbitrary reciprocal polynomial with integral coefficients that sum to one exists as an Alexander polynomial for some knot. In addition, we explore parallels between the Alexander and Weil polynomials.en_US
