Abstract
This workshop, presented by Media Resources Librarian Andrew Horbal, will discuss how to create effective multimedia assignments to maximize student learning. Topics which will be explored include:
- Why to create multimedia assignments
- Establishing learning objectives and expectations for the final product
- Developing a timeline/incorporating the assignment into the course
- Providing students with the skills and support they need to be successful
- Evaluating multimedia assignments
- What to do when the class is over
This workshop is designed to appeal to total novices, old hands, and everyone in between.
