This project aims to address the social injustice of the treatment and living conditions of immigrants. Specifically, immigrants detained in detention centers and private facilities. Families, usually women and children, are placed in prison like conditions for long periods of time; these places are not suitable for children to live or experience. The purpose of this thesis is to create a better environment for families to be placed while waiting for the justice system.en_US
