dc.description.abstractAs part of the Archaeology in Annapolis project in 1984, exploratory excavations were conducted in the play ground in a city park at the corner of Newman Street and Compromise Street. The site, the Newman Street site was used for the Archaeology in Public program. The excavations were part of the larger research strategy of Archaeology in Annapolis. This report summarizes the preliminary results of the 1984 field season.en_US
