Abstract

The purpose of our study is to determine the impact of positively valenced news information on implicit biases against immigrants. Participants will complete an implicit association task in order to establish baseline bias measurements. Thereafter, they will be exposed to a positive news article about immigrants. A second implicit association task will be completed in order to observe the effects of the stimuli upon participant bias.
