    Abstract
In my program proposal paper, I created a program, called One (Wo)man Can Change The World, for teenage girls of color aged 12-18 years old in the College Park and Greenbelt areas. The purpose of the program is to increase their confidence levels through interactive self-esteem workshops and one-on-one interactions with their mentor. Through the self-esteem workshops and mentorship, the program plans to encourage girls to become resilient, smart and brave individuals, to take risks and master physically, intellectually and emotionally trials in their lives and to develop meaningful friendships filled with mutual respect and support with other girls of color.
