    Abstract
    Sophisticated computer tools and techniques have been developed to increase the productivity of the digital electronics design and analysis process. Computer aided design (CAD) tools presently exist for schematic capture, routing, electrical simulation, and reliability prediction. This paper discusses some of the design, analysis and prediction issues, methodologies and critical tasks for up-front computer-aided design for reliability of digital electronics.
