In this document is a description of the process of conceiving and implementing the costume design for The Wild Party, a 1920s-style musical. Included in the process are the original concept of the designer and how it developed in conjunction with the directors’ needs, and process images including research, renderings, fitting photos, and completed production images. The Wild Party was written by Andrew Lippa, based on the poem by Joseph Moncure March. This production was produced by the University of Maryland School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies, November 4-11, 2016, under the direction of Professor Scot Reese and Mr. Alvin Mayes.
