    Modern Movie Magic

    This paper highlights changes in the character Aragorn, between J. R. R. Tolkien's novel The Lord of the Rings and Peter Jackson's film adaptation of the same title. I make the argument that the change in medium from print to film changes the type of hero that Aragorn becomes, showing this change alongside other heroes in the story.
