    “Are you Tippin?” That is the question being asked of black men in the San Francisco area in a new ad campaign aimed at men who do not self-identify as gay or bisexual, yet who have sex with other men. “Tippin” refers to a man who is living a heterosexual lifestyle, engages in sex with other men, and who does not identify as being gay or even bisexual.

    THE NATIONAL NEWSPAPER PUBLISHING ASSOCIATION (NNPA), Black Entertainment Television(BET), Vibe, and other black media outlets have gathered together to promote a major AIDS prevention campaign aimed at the black community. The Drumbeat Project is expected to promote awareness over several years and utilize Internet, broadcast, radio, and print media at a cost of more than $5.7 million.
