"International ILL Today: How Copyright and Licensing affect sharing across borders"
(American Association of Law Libraries, 2021-09-30) Thompson, Hilary
This American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) webinar empowers librarians to obtain materials from around the world while ensuring that the sharing of content abides by U.S. and foreign copyright laws. This session will address challenges faced by librarians in obtaining materials from other countries, including perspectives and advice from librarians based in the U.S., Europe, and Africa. The first of three speakers, Thompson provided a brief overview of the current landscape for international ILL, with a particular focus on exploring how copyright and licensing affect the sharing of library materials across borders.
