dc.descriptionI have entered data I encounter when reading the pollination biology literature. The database is incomplete in that not all the fields (e.g., sex of visitor, proboscis length of visitor, species identifications) are complete for all records. Some of the taxonomic names are certainly outdated, but I have not taken the time and don't have the expertise to check all of those names. I have invested a significant amount of time into assembling the database, and have used it in some cases to generate data for publications (e.g., the number of families or species reported as visiting flowers). I would be glad to have a collaborator interested in cleaning up and completing the database for a future publication, but am posting it to make it publicly available for future users.en_US
