| dc.description.abstract | Prevailing research in neurobiology suggests that the brainstem is the housing for the self. Because the brainstem is the connector of the body and the mind, this implies that every embodied action plays an inseparable role in self-formation. The images in this exhibition are linkages of past and future autobiography. They are indexed recordings of a body generating maps and crossing boundaries. These boundaries are of the self that was, and is, and will be. | en_US |
