Waala, Kara NicholeThe following thesis navigates the primary artistic concept, design process and execution of Kara Waala’s costume design for the University of Maryland’s production of Collidescope: Adventures in Pre & Post Racial America. Collidescope opened November 7th, 2014 in the University of Maryland’s Kogod Theatre. It was written and directed by Ping Chong and Talvin Wilks.
