Defensores De La Cuenca Interactive Web App

Abstract

This project partners with Defensores de la Cuenca, a Latino-led nonprofit, to create an interactive web mapping application that supports environmental stewardship in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Using ArcGIS technology, the platform visualizes client data, tree planting requests, and equity zones across the OMV region. Designed for internal use, the app empowers Defensores to efficiently manage outreach and enhance engagement, advancing their mission of connecting people to nature through culturally rooted experiences and environmental action.
