Abstract

Urban rewilding, the idea of incorporating native vegetation into urban infrastructure, offers a novel solution to modern mass wildlife extinction. Although aimed at conservation, this design strategy also creates physical, social, and economical benefits for the human population that amount to more than the initial investment into rewilding projects.
