Final report for INAG248: Topics in Sustainable Agriculture (Spring 2024). University of Maryland, College Park
This PALS partnership provided an opportunity for University of Maryland (UMD) students to assist Prince George’s Community College (PGCC) in developing a community garden design. PGCC’s Community Garden Coordinator did preliminary research, identified a garden site, and started establishing the site by removing sod through solarization. With assistance from students in INAG248 this semester, the Coordinator received design ideas for the garden, ultimately arriving at a final design for the site. The students also had the opportunity to implement that garden design.
