Acute Effects of Exercise on Brain Function

Abstract

This review provides a brief introduction to the effects of one bout of exercise on various aspects of brain function. I discuss exercise's impacts on neurodegenerative diseases, motor function, cognition, and potential mechanisms of these effects.
