dc.description.abstract"Do You Hear the Gap in Higher Education" explores the underrepresentation of hard of hearing and Deaf individuals in higher education. We examine potential causes for this finding and then dive into an investigation into methods used in the classroom that may not favor Deaf and hard of hearing individuals' academic achievement. The classroom methods include the presentation of materials, the physical structure of the classroom and the expectations of the instructor.en_US
