dc.description.abstractTHE NATIONAL NEWSPAPER PUBLISHING ASSOCIATION (NNPA), Black Entertainment Television(BET), Vibe, and other black media outlets have gathered together to promote a major AIDS prevention campaign aimed at the black community. The Drumbeat Project is expected to promote awareness over several years and utilize Internet, broadcast, radio, and print media at a cost of more than $5.7 million.
