This talk outlined the enterprise Decision Support project at the University of Maryland. This initiative was developed to put data into the hands of individuals who need it to inform their decision making. The project utilizes data from many of the University's transactional systems (e.g., HR, student information, research and grants) to populate warehouses from which BI reporting can be conducted.
