Due to global tragedies such as wars and natural disasters, many refugees leave their home countries and enter the United States in search of better lives. Forty-seven percent of them are children and teenagers under the age of 24. They need lots of help to overcome the pain of leaving their home country early, to adapt to a new home, and ultimately to receive a proper education and live as members of the American society. This thesis aims to establish and explore a new facility that can help the refugee youth adapt to the United States not only in the classroom but also in the real world through programs. Furthermore, the new facility aims to provide a new link between ethnicity and identity by helping the refugee youth to establish a new identity in the United States while maintaining their original ethnicity.en_US
