This dataset is a modification of a previous dataset from the same study (Spatial Training and Math Outcomes Grades 1 and 6: http://hdl.handle.net/1903/25314) that was created to support a secondary data analysis project focused on individual differences in responses to training (Who Benefits from Spatial Training?). We are posting it separately to facilitate further analyses of this type. The specific modifications include (1) both grades are included in the same data file; (2) the modified file includes SES data; (3) the modified file includes mathematics composite scores at pretest and posttest (vs. only separate mathematics measures included in the original), and (4) the modified file includes the variables for initial mathematics skill and initial spatial skill. Some variables were also omitted in this version as they were not used in the individual differences analyses, such as child age (in both raw and recalculated formats), school codes, and data for children in the control group.
