dc.description.abstract | This paper will analyze the impact of gender on dating violence offending patterns in a sample of college students in heterosexual dating relationships. Logistic regressions are utilized to examine the relationships between gender and predictors of dating violence and determine if male and female offenders should be studied separately. Logistic regressions identify differences in male and female reports of anger problems, problem-solving skills, and relationship commitment and satisfaction. This study reflects very clear differences between male and female offenders of dating violence; however, it does not provide conclusive support for gendered research. | en_US |
