dc.description.abstract | LibGuides are a commonly used tool for aggregating library resources by topic, but they can vary widely. Before making a concerted effort to update and improve the LibGuides at our institution, we are conducting a content analysis to discover current trends in the composition of engineering LibGuides at other R1 institutions. In this lightning talk, we will detail the beginnings of this project: the reasoning for this study, a review of the literature, decisions about what LibGuides we are choosing to look at, and our proposed methodology. | |
