Abstract
Documented health disparities exist in the United States and Maryland among racial and ethnic minority populations. What is less fair are the causes of these disparities and the solutions for reducing and eliminating health disparities. The purpose of this report is to provide a resource for members and staff of the Maryland General Assembly who wish to become knowledgable on health disparities generally and in Maryland.
