dc.description.abstract"We're plastic, but we still have fun" navigates the slippery divide between reality and fiction, icon and corporate logo, and commercialism and contemporary art. A 3D animation and a large plastic Target sign make up an exhibition composed of subject matter that is as iconic as it is wide-ranging. Mythical animals, medical devices, corporate logos, Gothic architecture, Pixar, and heraldry conflate into an absurd vision seemingly from alternate reality which is both familiar and alien; playing with our desires, dreams and anxiety.en_US
