This paper discusses the benefits of appraising for enduring value when evaluating notated music materials. The various facets of enduring value are reviewed, and a focus is placed on examples from Special Collections in Performing Arts (SCPA), Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library, at the University of Marylanden_US
