    Abstract
This lightning talk detailed the ways individuals can contribute to the Fedora Project as well as our motivation for having done so. It describes the main characteristics of the open-source Fedora Commons repository software, the ways the Libraries have sought to support the Fedora community, and the benefits of this system for our long-term digital asset management strategy and goals.
