    Abstract
    This workshop, presented by Media Resources Librarian Andrew Horbal, will discuss how to create effective multimedia assignments to maximize student learning. Topics which will be explored include: 1. Why to create multimedia assignments 2. Establishing learning objectives and expectations for the final product 3. Developing a timeline/incorporating the assignment into the course 4. Providing students with the skills and support they need to be successful 5. Evaluating multimedia assignments 6. What to do when the class is over This workshop is designed to appeal to total novices, old hands, and everyone in between.
