    Abstract
An interview with Richard Kidd, manager of informatics at Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Publishing, is presented. He discusses the RSC's Project Prospect and how it was planned and developed. He states that they have applied enhancements to selected articles from all journal titles. Kidd also says that Project Prospect is still the first real application of semantic enhancement to primary research literature.
    Notes
Svetla Baykoucheva, head of the White Memorial Chemistry Library at the University of Maryland, College Park, interviewed Richard Kidd, manager of the Royal Society of Chemistry Project Prospect.
