The University of Maryland’s Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) empowers
undergraduates and campus partners to engage and succeed in inquiry, creative activity,
and scholarship. This collection includes materials from OUR’s First-Year Innovation and
Research Experience (FIRE) program and from the Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP)
program, an initiative initially developed in the A. James Clark School of Engineering that
the Clark School and OUR now collaboratively manage. The collection also
encompasses materials shared by undergraduate researchers during OUR events, as
well as posters from Undergraduate Research Day 2020, 2021, and 2022, which were
organized by the Maryland Center for Undergraduate Research.
