Abstract

By almost any measure, people of color suffer worse health outcomes than their white counterparts. The contributing factors vary, ranging from lack of access to healthy food to taking fewer preventative health measures. On Tuesday, the New York State Medicaid Redesign Team voted on a slate of proposals to reduce disparities in healthcare in the state.
